Hi, I'm Dancer!

I was born in December, which makes sense because I'm part of the Santa's Reindeer litter. I'm expected to be a large breed dog since my mom is primarily pit and pointer, but my dad is unknown.

I'm a silly girl who likes to keep myself busy playing and getting into mischief with my sister, Prancer! We're the last of the litter left to find our forever homes, but I know mine's out there somewhere.

My foster mom affectionately refers to me as "ding bat" or "wild child" depending on which mood I'm in. Thankfully (for her) I am crate trained and happily nap in there during the night, while I'm alone, or even just to give the bigger dogs in the house a break from my antics. It's not my fault they're old and boring! Even though I'm high energy and full of life, I also love to snuggle with my people and dog friends once I'm worn out.

I currently live with three resident dogs, sizes small to extra large, and a giant cat. I'm curious about the cat, but he does NOT like me (or other dogs I'm told) so when I try to play he beats me up. I'm not one to hold a grudge though and will just try again tomorrow.

I love being outdoors, going for walks, playing with squeaky toys, tennis balls, tug-of-war, and chewing on little Kongs. My mom says I don't really have an “off switch” when it comes to dog play, so I'll need either a similarly playful young dog who enjoys roughhousing, no other dogs, or adopters committed to monitoring and giving the resident dog(s) space/rest as needed.

In general, my foster mom says she prefers a home with opposite-gender dogs, if there will be other dogs in the household, but with me is more concerned with the other dogs activity level. So if you have no dogs or a dog that's ready to be my best play pal - let's do this!

To set up a meet and greet with me, please apply!
