"STELLAaaa!" (age 9) is such a character! She's like a cute, feisty, slightly blind/deaf granny who loves to go for a power walk. The best way to describe Stella is that some things take her a little longer - she works really hard to figure out how to jump up on the couch, or eat out of a new kind of bowl. She hears her name best when you call her in a high pitch and with an exclamation point at the end ("STELLAaaa!") She gets along with the other dogs but she does NOT want to live with a young puppy - that would be too disturbing to her napping schedule. She squeaks at the door like a the tiniest, cutest mouse when she wants to go outside (she's fully housetrained), and she loves to get her chin scratched. Her coat is downy and soft just like a baby bunny. Stella has been on hypothyroid meds since coming from the shelter and she is feeling much better.
