This handsome southern boy’s name is Louie, named after his birth place, Louisianna! Louie was found as a stray at only 8 months old, he then was transferred up here to Michigan where he was fully vetted and neutered. Louie is a hound/lab mix that the vet estimated he was born in August of 2020, which makes this incredible boy 1 year old! Louie gets along great with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, although he is still learning some manners and doesn’t mind being corrected by the more dominate and experienced dogs. Louie is a ball of energy who loves to be outside, no matter the weather, and is always up for new adventures and explorations! Because he is such a curious guy he would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. At the end of the he loves to snuggle up to people and will even try to use you as the dog bed!  Although he is still learning he has successfully learned sit, stay/break, come, his leash skills are getting better, and he is crate trained. Louie is good with cats but tends to play to rough for them which might be stressful for most cats. He is also great with children but can also try to play with them like they are his litter mates, resulting in him accidentally knocking them down. There is so many more wonderful things I could say about this loving boy, but I’ll leave that for his forever home to discover themselves!
