Handsome Kai is a 2 year old, 60 pound, neutered Australian Shepherd mix. He is smart, friendly, and still has a lot of puppy energy.  He's been vetted, has all vaccines and is in excellent health.  Kai is looking for an active family that will make sure he gets plenty of exercise and attention year round.  Kai is good with cats, flawlessly housebroken, and crate-trained (42" crate, or larger). He's a brisk walker and loves to go jogging with his person.  Besides walks/runs, Kai loves back-scratches, belly rubs, playing fetch, tug-toys, and chew-toys.  We would like to place Kai in a home with a fenced yard and someone interested in continuing Kai's training. Kai can be a little reactive or overzealous to other dogs, mostly because we don’t think he was socialized much. He has been making great progress but needs a family who will continue to work with him with our trainer. Kai would love to have an outgoing, playful dog-friend to run in the yard with, but older dogs might find Kai's energy offputting.
