Welcome to House of Hounds Rescue, sweet, goofy RUDY!   Rudy is estimated to be about 4 months old and he is smart as a whip! (And he is food-motivated, creating great potential with training!)  He’s almost potty trained after just a little while in his foster home (he has an awesome canine brother to show him the ropes) and is working on crate training.  Rudy is GREAT with dogs of all sizes and is coexisting with a few cats in his foster home.  We are keeping a close eye on him to make sure he knows that cats are not toys.  Rudy is doing great with learning how to walk on a leash, and is really enjoying the 13 year old human in the home.  Did we mention that Rudy loves other dogs?  He’d be a great addition to a family with another friendly pup.

 Rudy looks to be a pit bull or staffy mix, so please do not apply if your landlord or HOA does not permit pit bull-type dogs. We want to make sure Rudy is set up for success in his new home, without having to deal with landlord prejudice.  We verify with all landlords/HOA for all our dogs being adopted, so please check your lease or bylaws before applying.  Thank you!
