Are you looking for the perfect combination of playfulness and snuggles in your new pup? Neptune is the guy! He is a year and half old old Mountain Cur and Beagle mix, approximately 45 lbs. He loves his people and pup-mates! He has not been tested with cats yet, but is pretty submissive. He is housetrained, crate-trained, and he has no known health issues. He had surgery on his knee in April and has recovered well. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Neptune walks well on a leash, jumps right into the car for a ride whenever possible, and loves being outside! We are working on barking manners with him, especially when people walk by our fence. He does have some reactivity with new men (barking), though he adjusted great to both foster dads after a day or two. Neptune's ideal home would have a fenced yard (no electric fences for this guy, please), as he does love to run. (He would also love to have playful kids in the home and another pup he can run around with if possible!) In addition, Neptune needs some patient parents who will continue to work with him on his barking manners. His adoption fee is $265.
